Field guide & controls

Your job: dispatch buses to shelters. Residents board automatically. You can pause and issue orders at any time.

Buses: eighteen seats each. A bus boards for up to twelve seconds, then returns to the exit. A full bus leaves immediately. Use Leave pickup early to get moving sooner. Passengers can be lost if their bus is overrun or misses the deadline.

Road blocks: everyone stops at a barricade, including your bus. Zombies can break it down. Remove a block to reopen the route. Removing one before the outbreak returns it to your stock.

Distractions: a decoy attracts zombies inside its ring for twenty-four simulation seconds. A nearby bus or resident can still draw their attention.

Shelters: doors protect residents until zombies break through. Survivors then try to reach another intact shelter. Infected residents turn into zombies after eight seconds and cannot board.

Real neighborhoods: people follow mapped streets and walking paths; buses follow the driving network. Buildings and lakes have no shortcuts. The residents, shelters, and outbreak are fictional, and time and speeds are compressed for play.

Keyboard: focus the map and use arrows to move its cursor. Enter uses the selected tool, Escape returns to inspection, and Space pauses or resumes. Touch-friendly cursor controls are below the map.

Map: Overview shows the district. Zoom in and drag to explore. In a full evacuation on a real map, you can place the outbreak origin before starting.

Start the outbreak without a rescue order. You can still dispatch a bus afterward.
