Preparing your budget…

Small purchases, big numbers

Make sense of money scales

One thousand. One million. One billion.

A million is 1,000 thousands. A billion is 1,000 millions. Switching between the three budgets makes the same purchase feel very different.

At the game’s $5 price, a million dollars buys 200,000 cups of coffee. A billion buys 200 million.

Try three challenges

With $1,000, buy a console and dinner, then leave less than $5. With $1 million, compare a racehorse with smaller purchases. With $1 billion, try spending the entire budget.

Watch the percentage as you experiment. What seems expensive at one scale may barely move the total at another.

Keep experimenting

Buy and Sell use the quantity you enter. Buy max uses all the money that fits whole copies of that item. You can Undo or Redo purchases, sales, Clear, and budget changes.
